Start with our studio’s inks
Choose your artist above the search bar. Every listed color comes from ink available to that artist. Choose a color to preview it as a splatter, then select the swatch closest to your skin tone.
See the difference
The preview simulates how a color may appear beneath the selected skin tone. Original ink is on the left; the simulation is on the right. Drag the divider to compare. The crossed-circle swatch removes the filter. We remember your selected tone when you open another color.
Try a reference image
Choose “Simulate your skin tone on a reference image” to select a picture from your phone or computer. It opens in the same preview, sized to fit. Use the rotation buttons to turn a sideways image. Use the zoom buttons and arrows, or select Move image and drag, to inspect a detail. Return to Compare to move the divider. Your picture stays on your device, is not sent to our server, and is discarded when you close the preview.
A guide for your conversation with your artist
These are illustrative color simulations, not a promise of healed tattoo results or an exact skin measurement. Skin undertones, lighting, ink coverage, placement and healing all make a difference. Reference images may include colors outside our ink collection. Your artist can help choose the best palette for your design and skin.
